성경통독 전문가이자, 베스트셀러 <성경과 5대제국>의 저자로 잘 알려진 통通박사 조병호가 성경통독을 위한 맞춤형 교재인 <통성경 길라잡이>를 출간하였다. <통성경 길라잡이>는 성경 전체를 40개의 성경 줄기로 구성하여 성경 전체를 스토리로 설명할 수 있도록 만든 <통通성경학교> 교재이다.

즉, 성경 전체를 역사 순서대로 재배열하여 총 7개 트랙, 20개의 마당, 40개의 과로 구성하였다. 성경 66권을 역사 순서대로 공부함으로써, 성경 전체의 내용을 기초부터 탄탄하게 공부할 수 있다.

본 책은 <통通성경 길라잡이>의 영문판으로 영어권 언어 사용자들을 위한 책이다.

<통通성경학교>는 ‘성경 한 권이면 충분하다’는 믿음과 고백을 바탕으로, 성경 전체를 누구나 ‘이야기’로 말할 수 있고, 전달할 수 있도록 하기 위해 준비된 코스이다.

<통通성경학교>는 조병호 박사가 정리한 ‘통通성경 포뮬라’의 7단계의 과정을 통해, 성경에 기록된 하나님 나라 이야기를 모든 부모가 저녀에게 ‘설교’가 아닌 ‘이야기’로 전달하는 Family School을 열 수 있도록 돕는 학교이다. 이를 위해 <통通성경학교>는 전체 10주간 30개의 강의로 구성되어 운영된다.

저자소개

Dr. Byoungho Zoh, also known as “Dr. Tong” created an approach called ‘Tong’ (통:通 pass through, common, communicate) which is a method that attempts to fuse the heart and mind and also to combine the Eastern and Western cultures of the world.

He holds a Ph.D in Historical Theology from the University of Birmingham in the UK and is the president of Bible Tongdokwon, an educational institution for studying the Word of God. In 2004, he participated as one of the co-authors for the German Theology Dictionary RGG4 with the article entiltled Studentische Missionsbewegung and in 2006, he was invited as a speaker at the Royal Historical Society in the UK. Also in 2006, he declared the new way of Reading through the Bible through the Tong Method. This was followed by the Seoul Declaration conference called Re orientation Thur the Bible for 140 theologians. The official Formula for Tong Bible was launched in 2014.

A prolific writer and bestselling author in Korea, Dr. Zoh has written over thirty books including Bible with the Ancient Wars, Bible with Ancient Politics, and Bible Tongdok. The Korean Christian Publication Association(KCPA) gave several awards to Dr. Zoh including the first prize in 2011 for his work, The Rise and Fall of the Five Empires in the Bible.
